LD8KMeasurement principle:
The online trace nitrogen analyzer LD8K adopts a plasma emission detector, which is based on the spectrometer emission unit. The unique design of the frequency, intensity, and ionization cell components of the plasma generator makes this analyzer very stable and effective.
Electroluminescence, as an emission technology, is used to quantitatively analyze nitrogen gas. The plasma generated by the ion generator enters the ionization cell with the sample gas argon or helium gas. Electrons or ions are excited due to collision, and gas atoms or molecules are accelerated by the kinetic energy of electrons and ions in the electric field, resulting in luminescence phenomenon. When the nitrogen concentration changes, the spectral lines will also change accordingly. The light passes through an optical filter that can distinguish these spectral lines. Finally, a photodiode converts the light into an electric current, generating an electrical signal proportional to the concentration of nitrogen in the sample gas. The electrical signal is amplified by an amplifier and the instrument displays the nitrogen concentration value.
